MALTA
On January 15th, we went to interview the ambassador of Malta. We spoke with His Excellency Andre Spiteri, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Malta to Japan.
The Embassy of the Republic of Malta in Japan has only recently been established. The Ambassador studied at Kansai Gaidai University in 2002 and has firsthand experience of living in Japan, making him a great admirer of the country. As ambassador, he is dedicated to building strong relations between Japan and Malta.

He speaks five languages—Maltese, Italian, German, English, and Japanese—and brings a global perspective to his work. When we explained the International School Network’s project, which aims to eradicate global poverty by improving literacy rates among children in developing countries and standardizing education, he listened with great interest.
