After the interview, his Excellency Mr. Elard Escala and his wife Madame Cristina Escala warm-heartedly prepared us a Peruvian dinner at their residence. We were served a course dinner including quinoa salad, along with original Peruvian beans and vegetables. As a reporter, we were able to feel the importance of eating healthy food, as quinoa is qualified crop, a source for numerous proteins and vitamins. Along with the dishes, the ambassador Mr. Elard Escala explained to us the “Inca cola”, a typical soda beverage in Peru. During the dinner, Madame Cristina Escala gave us guidance on the table manners when eating course menus, served at special occasions. Along with trying Peruvian cuisine, we felt like we got a little closer to becoming a wonderful lady like Madame Cristina Escala.
