Fujiya Hotel in Japan
富士屋ホテル 内観
Interior
The interior of the Fujiya Hotel reflects the old-fashioned designs of the 1930s. There are high ceilings, antique lights and furniture including comfortable chairs, large staircases and long hallways, intricate and lovely woodwork, and carpeting and wooden floors, all in a relaxing red-brown color tone. There are also stations of displays in the hallways showing various works of art and bits of history. We came across one that sprayed out a sample of the Hotel’s signature fragrance that is used in the lobby and sold in the hotel shop. All of this effectively created the luxurious and unique atmosphere that differs The Fujiya Hotel from any other hotel in Japan. (by Madoka)
The Fujiya Hotel has its own store and museum. Facilities also include a pool, a spa, a massage salon, restaurants, a café, and a bar. The hotel café near the lobby serves drinks and cakes. John Lennon’s favorite spot in the café is marked. More details about the facilities are written on the facilities page. (by Madoka)
